The combination of both arterial and transport infrastructure is aimed at promoting a more pedestrian friendly precinct. With a concentrated hive of both ongoing commercial and residential construction, Claremont is set to reap the rewards of a robust and well directed master plan.
RATIONALE
With a severe shortage of high quality office space within the locality, the opportunity and demand to realise a high spec commercial building was envisaged. The 9 storey construction consists of street level retail set below 3 levels of parking created to serve the 5 storeys of ‘AAA’ grade office space above. Each office plate is approximately 800m˛ in size, designed for an open plan and cellular organization. Balconies and terraces take advantage of sweeping mountain views. In addition, the new structure integrates a 100 year old, 2 storey heritage building.
